While most five-year-olds are hitting the playground, Italian Margherita Puri-Negri was hitting the runways. Get to know this Milan-based Marketing and Communications Strategist as she shares style advice and icons — and that unforgettable runway story — in this special Tunic Issue from Tory Daily. #ToryTunic

My style is…
I don’t have a style; I like to play with clothes.

And my secret styling trick…
A good pair of shoes.

First fashion memory…
Catwalk at five years old — I started crying and the model had to pick me up and catwalk with me in her arms.

Best fashion advice ever received…
Wear what better fits your body, not what fashion dictates — from my mom.

I love a great tunic because…
It’s the perfect outfit to wear from day to night.

My tip to styling/accessorizing a tunic…
Add a nice belt.

My favorite beach getaway in the world…
Capalbio.

And my recommendations on what to do/eat/see there…
Eat at La dogana, visit the Giardino dei Tarocchi, dance at Bar la Polverosa, boat day trip to Giglio Island or Giannutri Island.

My bohemian icon…
Brigitte Bardot. ;)

The color I most love…
White.

My backstory…
I am a curious energetic extrovert, who recently moved back to my hometown of Milan after eight years studying abroad and working in the UK and the US with brief experiences in Shanghai and Switzerland. I am now Global Business Development Coordinator for Havas Luxhub, the global strategic consulting practice of Havas for the luxury sector.
